Their grandaughter, my GGGrnadmother, married their daughters grandson... To add further confusion, there is a name in her family tree that also crops up in her husbands tree... Aaaaarrrrggghhhh! looks for Gwynnes worms

	passes a juicy one to Teresa I'm related to myself several times. Family tree maker tells me that on Dad's side I'm my own 6th cousin once removed and my own 7th cousin. On Mum's side I'm my own 4th cousin. My first cousin (daughter of second cousins) is related to her sister 4 times. counts fingers Gwynne

Member Since: July 2005 Posts: 23,508 Send Message	My FTM is only showing them as 5XG...when I track them through one line it jumps from my 3xG to 5xG, when they are actually 4xG..so it is opting for the larger number. Thing is, this means that I am related twice to every ancestor before them now. I want to go and get the parish records next year...but now I'm scared to..lol

Its scaring my mum too, these are on my dads side, but they were only about 20 miles down the road from her side....and I have found one or two of them very near...
