Maid Marian of

Maid Marian of Report 27 Feb 2005 07:56

Charles has now said that we the public show him and Camilla no compassion and that he is fed up with being told what to do!!!!!. Has he stopped to think that there have been many occasions where he has shown none (eg.Di) and that in this life we all get told what we should do! Get a life Charles and leave us alone. Prince William should take over so we can forget this fiasco!

Deanna Report 27 Feb 2005 08:03

Guinevere Report 27 Feb 2005 08:11

He's right. I don't care about him or any of the rest of the family. Parasites, all of them. Gwynne

Unknown Report 27 Feb 2005 08:14

I've had plenty of compassion for him but I don't think a sweeping statement like that is going to win him many friends !!

Unknown

Unknown Report 27 Feb 2005 08:16

Think he forgets who he's supposed to work for sometimes lol

Unknown

Unknown Report 27 Feb 2005 08:19

If he's not careful I'm taking the toaster back to Argos for a refund.

Does he not realise that the likes of him should be 'setting a good example' to the likes of us? One should be behaving properly. One should get married (happily) and be faithfull to one's wife and family. One should not get divorced and one should certainly not get married again to one who is just as fickle and unfaithfull as oneself. hah! After all, who or what does he think he is - a commoner!?!? lol

Unknown

Unknown Report 27 Feb 2005 08:21

Exactly Susan - it's for the likes of us to behave badly lol

Is the wedding still going ahead then? I'm confused! Bendy don;t take it back cos my toaster died ages ago and I'm having to use the grill

Unknown

Unknown Report 27 Feb 2005 08:28

You can have it instead then David, I'm not giving it to that ungrateful man any more !!

Pat

Pat Report 27 Feb 2005 09:29

Wouldnt you think that with all his advisors that the wedding arrangements with have been made without any chance of any problems before the news was issued. Then he would possibley not have had as much bad press. Personally I care neither way, he will please himself as usual, let him get on with it. Pat

being an ex-pat I'm pleased to see I think like so many of my fellow poms ,I thought maybe I've lost touch with what the real peoples think of Charles and his 'horse's ass of a wife to be ',keep the queen but the rest of the 'family ' should be made to go out and work for a living ,If I was on his pay I think I would keep shtum and enjoy it.

ChrisofWessex Report 27 Feb 2005 10:21

I think his so-called advisors have ill advised him! Evidently they surmised the public would accept a wedding. I think he forced the hand of Buck House - the leak came from Clarence House and if Buck House had had anything to do with it - everything would have been in place and checked before the annoouncement. As far as I am concerned the fact that Camilla did not spend Christmas at Sandringham says a lot and that Charles left on Boxing Day to join her in Scotland. The Royal family does not want this marriage and the public do not either. I still say it is illegal - the Statute Books have not been changed re the Royals. It is a fiasco. Ann

I don't care about any of them either,I just wish we hadn't lost lady di, she was one of us and did anything she could to help without even thinking about it, he is not even worth my thought ,he was with camilla before he married diana.waster.Denise.

Dennis ,i tend to agree with you mate ,but think Anne should be in the same class as the Queen ,she is doing lots of work behind the scenes, the rest ar'nt worth a candle.Fred.ptfg.&a&g&s.

Glenys the Menace! Report 27 Feb 2005 12:36

Well Marian, as you say, perhaps he should think back to the days when he courted Diana and married her, under false pretences. If what he is quoted as saying is true (you know what the media's like!), he really does have a selective memory. I have no loyalty towards those two whatsoever.

Lucky

Lucky Report 27 Feb 2005 13:44

What compassion did he ever give Diana. He really thinks people are going to forget what him and that woman did, right from the start by what a lot of peope are saying.

Sarah

Sarah Report 27 Feb 2005 13:52

I fully agree with what you are saying but at the end of the day, what has happened in the past has happened and that cannot be changed, the only way to go is forward as there's not much point in going backwards as it doesn't achieve anything. Sorry if this offends anyone, but lets face it a lot of the problems with what goes on is generally caused by the tabloids coming out with whatever they want just to boost their sales. Sarah, x
