Chill out Connie - you'll do yourself an injury:) Not sure why you're addressing all this to me - I think Bakri should have left the country some time ago but as I've said his children are British citizens and as much are responsibility as any other and I don't think they should be punished for their father's crimes. I certainly wouldn't want to be held responsible for all of my relations misdoings. |

The benefits system in this country is completely back to front! My Husband had worked since before he left school and had never claimed a penny of benefits in his life, then he was made redundant and we had nothing - they refused to pay any housing benefit as we were 'over accomodated' (we had been renting a four bedroomed bungalow for a year without any help) but weren't about to offer us alternative accomodation, they also refused to pay any income support until they received a Redundancy Note and my Husbands wonderful employer refused to issue one for four weeks! We ended up down the social services practically begging for a bit of money - they gave us a 'loan' of £100 because I happened to have a catalogue debt! We ended up living seperately with different relatives for a year, because their was no help for people like us. Then there is my Brother - he had a Motor Bike accident over 20 years ago and had to have his left arm amputated, yet they will not pay him any Disability Allowance - his Wife gets a carers allowance which is pitiful - and they won't let him have a disabled sticker for his car, let alone give him a new one. So what the hell is disabled? We seem to mostly help those who fiddle the system and don't deserve any help it seems? Kaye x Sorry - got on a bit of rant there...lol |

Kaye we all need to carry on ranting, the trouble is, the REAL BRITISH people have kept their mouths shut for far too long . Its about time that the government listened . My husband has problems with his lungs and is unable to work. This was caused through his employment with a company who breached 23 health and safety requirements and after a four year battle , he was finally compensated with the company accepting full responsibility for the damage caused. BUT when he tried to get disability, the social security ' doctor ' said it was all caused through smoking . Lets all remember CHARITY BEGINS AT HOME |
