I though drug-use was rife in the world of modelling. They prefer drugs to food, don't they? That's why they're all skinny and we plebs aren't. CB >|< |

The never-ending saga that is Nancy, Sven, Faria plus anyone else that has taken Sven's fancy is a constant irritation whenever I do pick up the paper at home. As for Jude Law & Sienna Miller, who the hell cares? Jeanette, Do you ask for your haddock and chips to be wrapped up in any newspaper provided it's not The Sun, lol? |

Lynda, She isn't in the Beano, for goodness sake. She's also known as Beryl the Peril - she's in the Beezer (I think) Gwynne |

What annoys me about newspapers is the way they drag celeberities into a story even if they have nothing to do with it. For example, If mr. A, caught speeding, is second cousin to celeb B then B is mentioned even if they are thousands of miles away and have nothing to do with the incident. |

Most tabloid newspapers exactly fit the bottom of the cat lit tray! and that's the best place for them. I cannot figure out however how emaciated women are promoted as being 'desirable'. Now, it could be a little bit of the green eyed monster on my part (I'm a Fern Brittain size 16) but to my eyes the poor cow (Kate Moss) looks like she needs a good meat and two veg dinner every night for 6 months to build her up a bit. It's very sad I think that no one seems to care enough about her as a person to show her the error of her ways - all the press seem to want to do is pull her down off her pedestal where they (and other morons like them) put her in the first place by promoting her as 'the face and body of today'. Let's hope the poor girl gets the help she seems to need and manages to get back into a more 'normal' life style before she is totally destroyed. Jacqui |
