This Kate Moss business. I've no interest in her at all. I don't care whether she snorts charlie or mashed up banana. But all this drama isn't about what she's doing, it's about hypocrisy. The papers haven't published pictures of her taking drugs because it's in the public interest. She's not a politician or a policewoman or a children's presenter - she's just a model. Her misdemeanours are in the papers cos the editors think she sells news. And she hasn't lost her contracts cos she takes drugs but because everyone knows she takes drugs. Thanks:)

I totally agree, David. I hate it when the papers spy on people in the public eye or set them up. Journaliasm used to be an honourable profession. - but if people didn't buy the rags then they wouldn't run the stories - so maybe the public have an unsavoury interest in the private lives of these people. I've no interest in Kate Moss either, nor her Babyshambles frontman boyfriend Pete Doherty. However, and I might be wrong here, but didn't the papers show pics of John Leslie snorting coke/allegedly snorting coke? If so, then why publish pics of him and not of her?

Yep - I agree in part. It's been pretty common knowledge that she's into drugs and wild parties for a number of years, but now she's been 'seen' to be taking drugs and as you say that's the problem. Kaye x

David I refuse to buy or even have papers in my house, i cannot stand the rubbish (i shall be polite) they put in them. If some one wants to take drugs, its their choice as its my choice not to read about it. More important things they can report on. Donna

Speaking of bananas....when my brother and sister were teenagers they tried drying banana skins in the airing cupboard, I assume to try and smoke them? My Mum found them though and chucked them out - don't think she realised exactly what they were up to? lol Kaye x

I suppose you could say that she is a role model for young girls and should pay particular attention to conducting herself in a legal fashion for those who look up to her. I don't really care, but that's the other side of the coin. However, any drug taker should be punished, famous or not. I would be dissapointed if she is found guilty and is not dealt with in a fitting manner.

I hope she isn't a role model for young girls Dan given that she doesn't look like she's eaten a meal this decade. We only know she takes drugs because it's reported in the papers and I don't think it should be.

So if it's kept secret she should be allowed to take drugs? She is breaking the rules of society and has been found out. She should get what's coming to her.

I'm not that bothered about people taking drugs or not. Their choice - although it's the poor people at the bottom of the chain who are the victims. It's all the hypocrisy around this that pees me off.
