Don't know if anyone can help me please? - a friend of my son's, who I have known for 6 years, has just delivered her little son, very prematurely and he weighs only 2 lb 10 oz, a 1lb more than my late daughter. It has happened on the anniversary of my mum's death too so doubly emotional for me. I wonder if anyone has any prem.baby knitting patterns? I would like to knit something quickly for her as she has nothing prepared for a baby so tiny - all her things are for an average sized baby. Also can you please keep Vee and baby Samuel (my son's middle name so another link), Crofty, Samuel's dad, and Emily Vee's daughter and greatgranddaughter of my late friend Edna, in your thoughts and prayers. I will keep you updated on Samuel's progress. Liz |

My thoughts and prayers are with the baby & his family. They can do marvellous things now, don't forget. I have two strapping nephews that were both born at less than a bag of sugar over 30 years ago, so I am sure he will be ok !! :0) Joan |

Liz I am sure there is a firm which does these patterns. Why don't you try Google, I'm sure you will find it. And tell her congrats from me, and my sister, now a mother of 5 was smaller than that. So don't worry about her wee mite. Deanna X |

Sending love and prayers for all concerned. My nephew weighed 3lbs. He's now married and is going to be a daddy himself. All these responses have brought tears to my eyes. Sorry to hijack the thread PP - but THIS is what this board is all about. Love, support and caring. Love Mags xxx |
