I want to send you all my love and best wishes xxxx My wee fella was born 9 weeks early and weighed 2lb12oz's and all the doctors told me 'he'd overtake everyone in his age group and continue to do so until adult hood so don't believe that just coz he's small he'll stay that way' I thought aye righto you're just saying that to make me feel better when I'm looking at a tiny scrap of a thing in an incubator full of tubes..............well....he's right and I'll never forget what he said coz i reckon he put a boojach on my wee fella!! :-)))) coz now he's 7yrs old and in 11-12yr old clothes has size 5 feet (charts say he should be size 1-2 max!!!) and has an appetite of a horse and he's the tallest not only in his own class but the year above him aswell...for school photo's he stands in the row with P5+6 not P3 like it should be!!! Anyway...all i'm trying to say is the baby might be tiny and vulnerable but they're tuff wee cookies and soon won't be tiny for long :-)) My M-I-L used doll's patterns for cardigans, jumpers, trousers & bootees etc..... wishing you & your family all the best in this worrying time Janet xxx

Again, I must thank you for all these kind messages which I shall print out for Vee before I visit (have to pluck up courage to go to SCBU but think I will try). I will also have some little things to take for other babies in there, as one kind person is sending me a little pink jacket already made and knitting one for Samuel too. Your offers and good wishes are very much appreciated. My son's girlfriend visited Vee today and said little Samuel is a strong little lad, and Vee is feeling a bit better. The problem was pre-eclampsia and my son hadn't told me till little one was here cos he didn't want me to be worrying after what happened to my daughter. Who needs all the bitchiness that happens on this board sometimes, when we can find kindness like this. Bless you all. Liz x

Don't have any knitting patterns (!) but my thoughts are with the family and the little one, hopefully he'll be fine, prem babies are normally real fighters !

So lovely to see everyone rallying round in support of little Samuel, he'll be a bouncing little bruiser in no time at all, bless him. I daresay you'll have enough knitting patterns by now but if you need any more or anything else for that matter, just shout. Cherryxx

And don't get told off like I did when i went to see her for the 2nd time!! We were allowed to touch her thru the holes in the incubator and she grabbed my finger and shoved it in her mouth!! I didn't stop her but the nurses certainly had something to say about it!! LOL!! xx
