I see on the news this morning the Police were sent to a small shop to arrest and take into custody two small Gollywogs because ONE member of the public made a complaint. What the B*****y H*** is this country coming to when murderers and rapists are free to roam our streets.

I used to have a gollywog in London, his name was Sambo......very non-PC now.......and I lived in Camberwell which is a predominately black area....my Mum had many black friends and nothing was thought of it.......but sensitivity prevails and gollys were banned....

Arnott's used to make a chocolate biscuit called Golliwogs, but in the last few years they've changed the name to chocolate snaps or some such thing. They said the original name was politically incorrect. The bickies are still just as yummy though. And they still look exactly the same!!! Deb:)

golly wogs were a part of my childhood every child had one so its a bit like takeing sweets off a child i loved mine still got it this country is going to the dogs why couldnt the police spend more time catching criminals than wasting time on petty things the complainant should be done for trying to waste police time
