Suzanne, your nan invented plastic tasting food long before the majore food manufacturers thought of it. She should have patented the idea :-D

Hi,

Just laughing at your melting plastic comments and I have one to add -

Many years ago my younger brother and sister were told not to make toffee.

Anyway, typically, they disobeyed and after school were busy making toffee when they heard Mum come home early.

In a panic to hide it they tipped it into a plastic bag!!

Needless to say, the kitchen floor had to be replaced where the boiling toffee hit it and the blisters on my brothers bare feet finally healed....!!!!

Allan

Allan Report 13 Mar 2012 22:46

We don't stand on our heads Suzanne. That is a misunderstanding that all people in the UK seem to have.

We just follow an English recipe and the cake comes out upside-down :-D

Do All OZY men have a boomerang & does it really come back ? :-D do they play near a billybong with a tucker bag ?

Allan

Allan Report 14 Mar 2012 21:35

Hello Barbra

A boomerang that doesn't come back is called a 'stick'. Aussie men do not play near a billybong: you may be confusing the word with billabong, which is a small lake.

Billybong is actually the name of a game which is very similar to table-tennis. However, we use wombats to strike the ball :-D

As for a tucker bag, well, I'm not even going to go down THAT path!

Barbra

Barbra Report 14 Mar 2012 22:01

Allan Sorry for mispelling billabong .you would take your tucker bag.to the lake you would have your lunch in it :-D
aw wombats .they are lovely little furry things how could you :-(

ALLANS wife treats cute furry animals in a frighful way,
when hes naughty(which is often) she beats him about the head ,with either a WOMBAT,or a WALLABYor even a BADGER, and they have been known to BBQ the poor furry things(they have a very large (BBQ).
ALLEN saves money on special occasions, by walking his wife past her favorite restaurant to wiff the air surrounding it,thats her special treat.
please dont feel sorry for him,he really does not deserve it.x :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D
