What i wonder do you reckon to the following information. We
begin with birds.
Birds are the most amazing things. They perform aereobatics
no man made plane could ever do. Some navigate thousands of
miles while man needs a set nav; for his home town.
Their ability to communicate by whistles and songs demonstrates
they were designed to do just so.
Some species of bird communicate, even before being hatched
researches have found quail embryos communicate with each other while still within the shell.
Different species of birds have their individual and distinct
meaning for each occassion. From just having a chat to warning
of danger.
They all have distinctive marks and are a variety of colours
BLIND CHANCE???????????????????????????

WHAT DO YOU THINK????????????????

oh, well, I stand corrected in that case. Thats the entire theory of evolution blown clean out of the water!

In favour of a big man who waves his hands from the clouds :-)

I have no problem believing in and reconciling both lol...

evolution by design....I don't know what 'God' looks like...but (and I will one day know or not know if I have got this wrong lol) I do believe in a 'God' , not nec' a man with a white beard sitting on a cloud though lol

~~~~waves~~~ to both of you
I think the greeks would disagree that they are failures!
And I think that Vladimir Skorkofsky from Inner Molgrovia, that well known dictatorship where a tractor costs £2.75 but a loaf of bread costs £175 might also disagree........
Darwin's family always denied the claim by a "Lady Hope" that he sent for a priest.
from wikipedia -
Elizabeth Reid, Lady Hope (née Cotton; December 9, 1842–8 March 1922) was a British evangelist who is generally believed to be the Lady Hope who claimed in 1915 that she had visited the British naturalist Charles Darwin shortly before his death in 1882. Hope claimed that Darwin had recanted his theory of evolution on his deathbed and accepted Jesus Christ as his saviour.
Charles Darwin's family denied the story, and insisted that Lady Hope "was not present during his last illness, or any illness." The Lady Hope Story is generally recognised, even by many Creationists, to be false — or at least unverifiable — and if true, probably exaggerated. The story remains a popular urban legend, even though it stands in sharp contrast to Darwin's published and known views about Christianity.
You'd be correct R R Hon;
the bible describes god as a bundle of Dynamic
energy.
As a Greek philosopher once asked ?
is god a all encompassing and we are just figures in his immagination carrying out his thoughts---
a load of rubbish of course, this same philosopher
put foreward the evolution theory--another load
of rubbish.
As I said yesterday, Chapter 3 of the Hobbit is about as meaningful as the entire bible :-)
MY dear Queen, hows Arthur today, at risk of a
visit from Lancelot i can only say.
One night sat in the Tontine pub in Ironbridge
a man we knew as Mr Price a god fearing
Methodist gentleman, told my brother in law
me, what i wrote. I had nor Have any reason
to disbelieve him.
Guinevere Report 15 May 2008 13:24
Colin, Guinevere is only a board name, not my real name. You seem to make a habit of mixing myths with reality.
I don't know what you are implying about a visit from Lancelot but if you are saying I'm in an adulterous relationship, then I'm offended that a total stranger would make such an implication.
Personally, I'd take the written words of Darwin's family over what some man in a pub said any day. And God-fearing Methodists don't drink.
Colin
Colin Report 15 May 2008 13:35
Dear G. i did not imply any such thing and i simpley
meant since Lancelot was the Queens Champion
in a joking manner
Mr Price was related to Darwin--Darwin was a
rellie of his.
As to mixing reality with myth or shall we say
humourus refferences, thats what ive heard
well educated people do, so i was just trying to
appear well educated.
Finally, in order to accuse you of Adultery, i
would first have to know you and even then i
wouldnt concider it any of my buisness,
In the words of scarlet Ohara--Quite frankly darling??
Guinevere Report 15 May 2008 13:41
If you are going to attempt be offensive then at least quote the right person - it was Rhett Butler not Scarlett O'Hara who said, "Frankly, my dear, I don't give a damn".
