Dau is still going to work, but not sleeping properly, when I got up at one time this morning, there were evident signs that she'd been up also.
Probably waking each other up !
Son, 'bless him' has passed his virus to me , I have a rasping throat.
He is going for a free consultation and free trial for contact lenses later.
Had an eye test in Nov, which suggested he needed glasses for middle distance, but the vain so and so wouldn't pick a pair of specs, he wants laser treatment. I think he's too young for that although I would like it done myself...eyes are a very precious thing and not really convinced about it. Dau and I both have contact lenses, had mine since I was 24,tend to wear them now only on hols..I'm not too vain to wear glasses and they tend to hide the bags under the eyes..lol
Other than that prodding on.lol

My son's always up in the night, thinks nothing of doing his washing, using the tumble drier too in the early hours.

Hi Sandie,
I have had contacts for years because being a cook they don't fog up in a steamy commercial kitchen like regular glasses.I have regular specs too.
Step daughter has had laser treatment quite successfully but it's not suitable for everyone.I wouldn't like to take the risk of it going wrong myself.

I too wear glasses and have done since my 20s.
Never had contacts though. I can't see further than my nose end without my glasses. Don't wear them on stage though I feel my way around the stage lol. Luckily I can't see the audience so never know what the reaction on their faces are. I have to depend on their applause or their BOOS lol
