Hi Liz
Just been having 'words ' with our local council. Grrrrrrrrrrrr.
Recycling and refuse collection today. They are trialling a new system in our area to do it all one the same day and using plastic bags instead our usual boxes.
The was an altercation between an irrate women driver who was behind the pick up van, right outside my house !!...she couldn't get past and kept beeping her horn !! Stupid c*w !
It is a side street...yeah you just have to be patient.
Now they have piled up all the bags in front of my neighbours house and not collected the rest of the street.
Neighbour,whose house all this pile of rubbish is outside is attending his brother in laws funeral,as I am typing.
The council have 'assured' me that the van was full and the will be around later to collect it........ better mind they do before neighbour comes home cos he will literally blow his top !
Phew.. moan over, haven't even got to that nasty word h**s*w**k yet !!
Will put one up in a mo.

Hi, Sandie.

Not surprised you needed a moan! Hope it does all get sorted - not what your neighbour needs today of all days.

The first bit of our recycling goes about 7.30 in the morning at the moment - and I'm not very good at remembering to put it out the night before so usually end up having to do a dash down the drive when I hear the lorry!

With the consent of my other neighbour , we've moved the bags in front of his house.
................Lo and behold as I type they have just turned up and collected them !!! Phew.
