Member Since: May 2005 Posts: 8,501 Send Message	Barbara The Tasman Bridge was the only access close to the city where people could get across so motorists had to drive about 40 miles out of their way each day to go to work across another bridge further up. Eventually they did have ferries to transport people across. It took 3 years for the Bridge to be rebuilt. Its such a beautiful place. I went over that bridge many times while we were there

	If you come to Oz Barbara go to Broome the old pearling port in Jackies state of W A .It's my favourite place.And Andamooka Opal Field in S A . If I come to the UK plan to spend a couple of weeks in the British Museum. K Z A I L i A i 1929
