I hate books that write about the way we bring children up anyway. As long as you care for them and donlt hurt them in any way I think most mothers can cope without all these books about childcare. My opinion only.

I would never take my children to the Clinic apart from having their needles as most of the Clinic sisters I came across were old maids and had never had children so how would they know. All babies are different and there isn't a manual to bring them up you learn as you go. My opinion again lol.

Jackie you would not believe how dependent todays young mothers are a friend of ours is in the disposable nappy business and he is asked so many times for leaflets on the CORRECT WAY TO SEAT BABY ON THE POTTY.

I know Daff. I never had disposables for mine all Terry towelling nappies that you had to boil.

My D i L is the most beautiful girl and I love her dearly but she was the same with her babies how do you do this and how do you so that lol. She was much better with the second but the first was a nightmare and she seemed to be panicking all the time.

They have it so easy too these days compared to what we had. But still don't seem to cope with bringing up a baby and housework etc.

I am Stressed out is the usual phrase lol

Oh and my son used to ring me occasionally and say Mum would you have the children overnight Jodie is so stressed out she needs a break lol
I loved having them of course but I never got anyone to look after mine if I was having a bad day.
She is much better now they are older 7 and 10 and can do things for themselves. I only babysit if they are going somewhere special now.

Oh well thats what our Modern society does to people maybe they do need a Manual lol
