I don't collect Gravy Boats but I have one from 1880 . I was renting a house many years ago and found it under the house. I told the owner about it and he kindly gave it to me. There was also a Meat dish and a Tureen. May be worth a bit by now have never had them valued. I will leave each of my Grandchildren one each in my will

Dau tests are on Wed, she is very weepy, which isn't helping me. Think the results may take a day or two.
I cope with my own probs sometimes better than advising others but I've suffered with anxiety in the past and we had a few 'chats' last night and have tried to tell her that it can happen to anyone at anytime !.
We are going out for another walk today , together, soon as I can get her dressed !! lol, it seemed to calm her down a a bit yesterday..
She is worrying about the tests on Wed, hates needles, scarred of the results whether negative or positive, cos can't swallow tablets, if they prescribe them, and doesn't want to take medication whatever !!
She feels stupid, her words for feeling this way !
This a girl who is confident and bright and 1 faint and another near one has knocked the confidence out of her !

Victoria is stingy with public transport it's too dear for everyone but still cheaper than city parking and you often have to leave the keys with the attendant which I won't.I know someone who had his car written off that way when staff took it for a spin and the insurance didn't pay.

Thanks Sandie please let us know how she goes with the tests. I suspected that was what was worrying her. Nothing you can do but be there for her and hopefully you can settle once she does. Enjoy your walk

I used to Collect spoons Mandy if you are still about but got fed up with cleaning them all so sold them at a car boot sale lol.

Now I collect Hat pins. I have them on the carpeted bit under the windscreen on my car. I have about 65 at this stage

Canada, Niagra Falls, Croatia, Disneyland are my favourites that people have brought me back. The rest are from all over Australia that I have visited.

lol Daphne I have to get them off the carpet bit first. Not any easy task believe me. When I add new ones I bring the whole carpet piece indoors and do it on the table. They do look great though and lots of people comment on them. My friend in Victoria just sent me 4 more that she got in Canada and Niagra Falls
