Not the physical, but do you feel that reading all the threads and replies someone gives, that you get a good impression of the 'real' person.....?

my friend has occasionally looked in on the boards as she knows I come on here a lot, and I sometimes refer to people on here....and she has built up a mental image of some of my GR friends!

she wanted to know if I thought I came across as I really am, intellectually and emotionally....LOL I wasn't sure i could give an accurate answer re how people see me!
Gave me pause for thought though!

probably the pictures we all have in our minds are nothing like reality -lol
but I think you can pick up on who is genuine
