My mate got hers for the first time. It depends when your birthday is, if you get it the first year. I know someone whose birthday is later in the year, and she won't get it this year. Unfair as far as I am concerned. |

If your birthday is before the 30th September then you will get the winter fuel payment this year.BUT if your birthday falls after that then you don't get the fuel payment this year but have to wait til next winter. |

i agree it should be more and what about the £10 christmas bonus, i remember my mil used to get £10 and she has been dead for 19 years is it still the same ammount |

What I dont understand is why the disabled dont get it too. We feel the cold just as much, sometimes more - and we are just as at risk from the cold too. We might be getting global warming, but I had my heating on quite a lot this past "summer". |
