Don't expect too much for the first few loaves.
It takes time to tweak recipies ,as no two breadmakers are the same.ours is great now that we have adjusted the recipies slightly. Fred.

It will definitely be better than one I would make :)))

I am not allowed to buy a breadmaker until I get the hang of using the slow cooker properly....................one step at a time for me is the safest way! :))

Ta Fred to be honest I'm not expecting it to be edible - if it is that would be a bonus !!!

Kitty. Took me a while with the slow cooker too hon. Still not brill with it and only use it for stews and casseroles not all the other more complicated things it can apparently do lol xx

Never tried to bake bread, but as I usually buy packet cakek mixes, I know yours will be better than anything I could "create".

You lucky beggar.
Nothing nicer than home made bread
hot, with butter dripping off it.

Enjoy.......................

Oh I can taste it already

I like making bread from scratch. It may take all day but tastes great. Can't beat homemade bread. Think I will have to get some fresh yeast now and a new loaf tin lol. Lynette xx

ohhhhhhhh, bet you cannot wait for it to come out the smell always gets me.....
Try setting it at night just before you go to bed so that its ready for you when you get up. nothing nicer with loads, and loads a butter. Then you have cronic indegestion all day 'cause you have eaten it when its hot!!!!

I can't wait to be able to do that Lesley but working out the timer will have to come later. I'm struggling enough just switching it all on and setting for immediate cook.

This was meant to be a fast loaf. But I pressed the wrong button lol xx

We have one and never used it.

I think Allan is afraid of it.

He is a trained baker, so doesn't need it anyway.
But it would be so easy.... all that work.

Hope your bread comes out nice Muffy.

Goodnight all,
Deanna X

Muffy, dont forget to leave it to stand once its finished - I normally leave mine in the tin in the machine with the lid up for about another ten mins before tipping it out. What have you gone for as your first loaf?
