Mine was a really STUPID THING. But that's me all over!

I had to sleep with the lights out, BUT, I would never have any bit of me *outside the blankets*.... not even my head!!

If someone came in and attacked the family, they would cut off any bits which were not covered!!

My mum used to wake me up and pull me up the bed. I told her I was COLD. Perhaps I was protecting her, from the fear, I don't know.

I have no reason for this fear.
I was a well protected little girl.

I used to be terrified of the big blue brushes at the car wash, I was convinced they were going to get me! Still don't like drive though ones now!!

Like many others Daleks - once went to Dr Who exhibition and you could remote control one and my brother had it chasing me round. Mum had to take me out as I was hysterical!

I , was scared of flushing the toilet as well, the toilet was downstairs near the back door, it seemed large and dark, the cistern was high......so someone tied a bit of string to the chain you had to pull, and I would go as far as I could and pull......then run like mad up the stairs.....I can laugh at it now....

I remember being in the house with my little Sis, I was watching Quatermass and the Pit, my Sis was in bed.....and I was too scared to go up the stairs to bed in case that 'thing' got me......

My brother used to tell me that if I was naughty the "Gizzard Worm" would get me LOL

but, like many others, I was more scared of the Daleks....I can watch Dr Who now without hiding behind my fingers and not be scared by anything...... except the daleks still!

Rubber bands !! Those thick, brown ones - my sister used to dangle them in front of me. I hated seeing lots of them in a pile, perhaps because they reminded me of worms, which still scare me! Also didn't like electricity pylons or the humming noise when walking under one.

The music on Doctor who, I used to hide behind the couch when it was on, oddly I wasn't afraid of any of the monsters.
I can't explain it myself.

My children were all scared of White Eyes.It all started at my brothers when he was doing his house up.Had my 3 children there as tots and all playing up.My brother went down the cellar to show OH something and pushed a feather duster up through the floor and said he was watching and his name was White Eyes.Omg White eyes lived with us.He even came out in the boot of the car.My children always acted perfect when we reminded them who was watching.lol They all laugh so much now about it.
