Not hate but deep dislike and as i have grown older learnt that no matter what this person has done to make me have these feelings he cant get to me anymore and i have put the past behind me and look to a future without him in it.

I hated my ' Mil from hell' for many years but showed her the respect that was due to her because that's the way I was brought up.... After she died I thought that the feelings would go away but it did not, they gnawed at my insides. Finally I learned to let go and saw her for what she was. A pathetic, unhappy dried up woman with a stone instead of a heart. Lindy,... who treats her future 'Dil' as a gift from heaven who will one day give me beautiful grandchildred. ;)))))))))))))))))))))))))))))

Yes Hoff my ex husband and his wife, he is weak, she is evil. But I agree it eats away at you and affects you badly, My eldest three kids were made to feel by their step Mum that they were worthless, dirty and that i wasnt bringing them up properly. i wish now id been stronger but she is the type who would smugly smile and deny it all while my ex hid behind her. The kids were ignored, they pleaded to be allowed to see their dad and were occassionally slotted in. I will never forget Josh, then aged 9 ringing on Fathers day to see if he could see his dad , to be told he was having a 'family meal with his wife and her child' i will NEVER forgive them for the damage they did to my kids self esteem, I just hope one day they spit in his face, sorry but it gets to me big time, hugs to all who hurt, caz xxx

Love em all just don't like some of them....lol I'm of the opinion *Hate* gives the other person some control over you (emotionally), and i refuse to give them that, they're not worth my time or energy! Susie x

there are 3 that I dislike passionately but hate is a very strong word! I don't think there is a person that I have met that I actually HATE!! I think I would have had to have loved someone very much and been seriously wronged to feel like that!! They do say there is a very fine line between love and hate xx

I dont hate any of mine. Some I have more time for than others though. I do feel for those of you who have good reason to 'hate' Marion

I don't hate any relatives, but there are two uncles I dislike and don't trust, one is dead now (not mourned by me). My father and I rubbed along (I disliked his drinking and arguing with mum). My mum I mourned for at least a year, and still feel her absence. I feel sad about the stories on here of families hating each other, but you can not choose your relations only your friends. and you don,t keep friends who let you down. Joy
