Morning all, just hope today will be nicer on here, Hoff did his best last night to push the cat-fight off the board and very nearly managed it at one point. I know there are other chat boards but I liked this one because it was my first,and because I am now able to 'get around' on it as it is not too 'technical' lol . Whether I stay or go I hope it will continue as a place for showing the best of ourselves ,humour,compassion and generosity of spirit, rather than the worst as it has been on too many occassions lately. (gryffindor versus slytherin without the benefit of the 'sorting hat' to tell us who's who!)) Rosex |

Morning :-) Lesley you're right, if all the nastiness does carry on, gr will most likely get rid of the board which will be a shame for those who consider it a lifeline. Rose love the Harry Potter analogy, we could do with a sorting hat lol |

Yes, I am Lesley. Wednesday night my membership runs out. I'm starting a degree in September so I'm going to be busy with that and other things. I will miss this site though, or at least certain aspects of it, others definitely not. |

Hi Lesley I have had a couple of different board names, including Lynne in Sale. I joined in January 2003 but, as I said, I don't get much time to come on here these days and rarely use general because of all the falling out. That's probably why you have never seen me before. I just wish it would all stop then maybe I would feel comfortable joining in. Lynne |

Don't know what's been happening lately and don't want to know,but we shouldn't let the SAD people who cause the trouble get to us,I for one don't post as much as I used to and can't be bothered to read all the threads that seem argumentative. Come on there is more to life don't let them grind us down |

Hi Hayley Who told you that - LOL! It's not a bit posh where I live! I used to live in Stockport - Heaton Norris, Brinnington and Reddish. I won't say which but only one of those areas was less posh than where I live now - LOL! Lynne |
