Who’s been following this over the past few weeks? There are 3 or 4 choices still to be shown, but in case you’re not aware of the Top 10, here they are: Blackadder, Fawlty Towers, Porridge, Dad’s Army Open All Hours The Vicar Of Dibley Only Fools And Horses Yes Minister The Good Life One Foot In The Grave What would be your choice? Difficult I know to pick just one but I went for Blackadder, although Open All Hours was a close second for me. |

For longevity and sheer popularity, it's got to be Only Fools and Horses (although it's not as good as it used to be!). Fawlty Towers and Blackadder second and third place for me |

Only Fools & Horses followed by One Foot In The Grave. Ha Ha, I also loved Love Thy Neighbour ! ( Patrick Trueman & Yolande in Eastenders would make a good updated (more politicly correct for nowdays) version of Bill & Barbie !) Elaine x |

Vicar of Dibley for me as a first choice and Dad's Army coming a close second. Dad's Army seems to be funnier now than it was when it was first shown ...... or is it just that my sense of humour has changed as I have matured ...........?! |

Seeing as how I,m stuck in America, we only get a limited amount of good British sitcoms. However my choice would be Vicar of Dibley and Open All Hours. What about the really old ones though? The Likely Lads, Til Death us do Part, Steptoe and Son. They were really funny back in the "old" days. |

Only Fools and Horses, followed closely by the classic Fawlty Towers (or should that be Farty Towels?) |

Has to be Fawlty Towers - no contest! It makes my cry with laughter, although my husband thinks it's one of the worst things on TV (he hated Monty Python too). What does he know! My kids love it and now so do my grandchildren, to hear them laughing so much is one of the happiest sounds I could hear! Sue |

It'll be interesting to see whether the most popular sitcom as judged by those of you who have nominated your choice on here (quite a few votes for Only Fools & Horses) matches the Beeb's overall winner when the result finally gets announced. :-) |
