Born and bred In Liverpool but live in Conwy.

My daughter moved here when she was 11 months old, now 13 years old (sorry 13 1/2 years old). She thinks of herself as Welsh and can speak it (sort of).

Hi all.. I was born in Canton, Cardiff, lived in Canton, Rumney, Pentrebane and Whitchurch, then married and moved away with husband (also Welsh, but a man's gotta do what a man's gotta do!! lol)

Lived in Haverfordwest for two years about 10 years ago,

Then moved back to live here in Newport, Gwent, two years ago.

Lovely to be home.

Born in North East England. Now live (full-time) in North-west England But have holiday cottage in Wales.

Partners family originally from Tredagar so cottage is half way between there and Abergavenny. About a mile from nearest village which is Clydach South.

I don't live in Wales now but have many happy memories of South Wales that's where I met and married my husband. We are both from Yorkshire. My husband was working on the open cast coal mining and my Father owned the Dinas Hotel in Pontneathvaughan (Pontneddfechan in Welsh) it's little village near Glyn Neath. The little river that runs through the village separates Glamorganshire from Breckonshire. I lived on the Breckonshire side.
Spent many happy hours in Neath and Swansea also when I was courting my husband.

OH was born in Banbury but brought up in Cwmbran and his sister still lives there. He considers himself Welsh and has never forgiven me since I discovered his father was born in England when I started doing his tree!

My sister lives near Aberaeron and I love visiting - it's so quiet and relaxing. If you drive over to Tregaron and into the Cambrian Mountains, it's like being in another world - and jaw-droppingly lovely.

Born in Llandaff, emigrated (dragged) to Canada, kicking and screaming, at age 7. Back home every summer for the next 10 years to visit my grandmother until she died. My father born Froncysyllte, family still in Llangollen, Cefn Mawr and Rhyl.
