One of the neighbours put her christmas tree up yesterday, with all the lights in window etc, she's putting it up earlier every year, probably be May next year! I put mine up normally second week of December, unless kids really nag then it might be a little earlier, but never before the 1st December, So I was wondering when do you put yours up? And do you know anyone who can beat my neighbour for putting it up the earliest? Tammie X

if my lot had there way mine would be up now but i dont allow that to happen till at least 5th dec

Usually put up the tree and lights first weekend of December. Family get together is the following weekend and I work all week so has to be then. This year it will be a way of celebrating our 33rd wedding Anniversary on the 4th! Woopee! Jacky :-)

My fellas mum wont let us put there tree up until xmas eve (now that the boys are grown up!) but at home we normally put ours up the 2nd week of December! xx

Usually 15th December - mainly because that's my eldests birthday and it was part of her birthday treat. Although she's flown the nest we still tend to stick to that day.

Usually after the first week in Dec., always love going to the forest to buy one, love that pine smell...

Christine, we do that too. We collect our tree from the Longleat forest on the first Saturday in December. Then we come home to mulled wine and mince pies, and put all the decorations up. Mandy :)

Its my birthday last week in Nov, thats when i put my tree up.

29th November - my sons birthday - always have - and hes 25 this year and no longer in the UK :-(

That's a bit ott Joanne, four trees, he he ,Liz and i do put two trees up ,but only cause we live in a split level and have one of them downstairs in the kitchen,and they go up on the first weekend of the month.Fred ptfg.

Its her husband I feel sorry for, he doesn't go near the pub after she's put it up, he gets pulled to pieces about it, I have a hard enough job at this time of year with all the shops putting them up, my 3 yr old doesnt realise theres still weeks til Christmas and Santas not coming tonight!
