I only have 2 but I have discovered that my mum has 23 and my dad has 25 first cousins, I have'nt counted my second cousins yet. jenny x |

Reason I have only got one is my Mums brother and sister died of TB in their 20s before they were married so no cousins there.On my Dad's side he had 2 brothers and one sister and the sister had only one child Brian my cousin.My Dads brothers tried but nothing ever happened and they would have been lovely parents, because they were super uncles to us,Im saying were one of them is still alive Uncle Bill is 85 and he has been married to my Aunty Edith for 65 years and no children and that is sad they are a lovely couple and I love them like I do my own parents. I have 4 cousins, 3 men and one woman. Of all of us only the females have children, me 2 and my cousin Mary 3. My husband had no 1st cousins on his mother's side as she was an only child, but 21 on his father's side to compensate. Our sons have only 3 cousins, all the children of my husband's brother. My brother is child and wife-free. nell |

I have no first cousins on my Mum's side as she was an only child. My Dad was one of five and I have 10 cousins and 3 step cousins on that side. My maternal grandparents were each 1 of 10 so Mum had at least 50 first cousins and they had at least 120 children between them (haven't traced them all yet). And so it goes on............LOL My paternal Grandfather had 3 brothers and 1 sister who produced 9 between them, but my paternal Grandmother's brothers both died young. Sue xx |

I have 1 on my Dad's side and 35 on my Mum's. Have recently discovered many 2nd cousins and I have had more contact with them in the last 2 years than with the 36 cousins in the last 30 years! |

Fathers side-18 Mothers side -16 (that I know about-another 3 brothers that I know had kids but don't know how many). So that makes 34 and counting. |

I've no idea how many cousins I've got, due to family estrangements going back many years. I know there are lots of them, but they're keeping well hidden. Can't imagine why. LMHO My husband's only got two first cousins, and my son's only got one. We're a dying breed. CB >|< |
