Hi D.B I have 5 Cousins on my mothers side but find out that i had 9 cousins on my dad's side, so altogether i have about 14 first cousins! i do have 9 second cousins on my mothers side and i only know of the 1 on my fathers side, but might have more!!! LMP :)

only 4 - two are one year older than my mum, whilst the other two are more my age. Go figure!

i have 3 on my dads side and and 13 on my mums side susie

20 on my dads side and 4 on my mums side so 24 in total and I am the baby of the bunch (just).And lots of step cousins too.

My mum was the youngest of 16 children,..............74 first cousins.

I'd never counted up before. Now I find I have/had 23. I remember when I was at school friends only have 1 or 2 and thinking they were strange. Certainly makes family history interesting. In fact many I only made contact with because of doing the family history and some I have never met. They are scattered all over the world. Jane

Just had a quick reckon, and there are about 30 on my Dad's side (he was one of 10 children) and there are 9 on my Mum's side. I've met those 9, but only met 4 on my Dad's side. Treat in store when I get to Lancashire! CB >|<

Only 2 on my mum's side. Sadly my Dad's twin sister died before marrying and having children. I never knew her, but she was a nursery nurse and everyone says she was a lovely gentle person and would have been a wonderful mother. Dad misses her still and she died nearly 50 years ago. Daisy

Hi Dave Well this is a bit of a question .... I have 4 on my dad's side and 3 on my mum's - but now I've traced some of my birth family, I also have another one young enough to be my son, and another 4 I think from my uncle's first marriage. My son had no cousins at all (I'm an only child and husband's sister childless) until tracing said birth family, and now he has 5! However, going by family history, I've got this funny feeling that there could be loads more out there :))) Mandy x

I have 6 cousins, but I've only met 3 of them. My mum must have loads. My grandmother was one of 13 children. Lucia :-)

I have four, two on my mothers side and two on my fathers. I do know someone who had 51 first cousins all on her fathers side. He is one of thirteen and two didn't marry. Her mother was an only child. Ros
