My son is David - I wsnt allowed to give him middle names . My first choice for them though had been Aloyisious Puddlebdub - the first cos I just think it is a cool name and Puddledub - after a wee village in Fife, but would have settled for James Charles after his grandads. My daughter - she is Anna-Marie. After her paternal gran and her paternal grandas sister. I loved the Jim Reeves song of that title - the night she was born my parents neighbours KNEW I had a little girl as my Dad - bless him - played the record over and over til he wore it out. She is known as Annie though - her maternal gran was baptised that - as she really suits it. My mother refused point blank to call her Annie and ALWAYS ALWAYS called her Anna-Marie - then I discovered that was MY maternal grans name - and I understand my mums reasons. Dad used to say my girls name - either the Annie or Anna-Marie like it was a song - as you have gathered he totally adored her. BTW I hate the name Sheila - cos according to family legend I was named after the dog that was put down for biting my oldest sister lol

I absolutely hate my name Priscilla It is a family name & my mum wanted to give it to my sister but all the rellies said no so when she came to Australia & had me there was no one here to object (Lucky Me) My Mums Name was Phyllis Priscilla & my G-Grandma was Priscilla But the name STOPS here.
