Hi Pink I think you were right the first time I think we all have to be a bit insane to be spending all this time trying to find dead rellies,but I admit it is a lot of fun & very addictive. Hi Val yes I do feel a little bit better slept for about 3hrs yesterday arvo I think that is what I needed. No John doesn't go out side much spends most of his time in bed as he takes a lot of medication he gets a lot of pain in his neck after the op & radiotherapy. We are going out tomorrow as he has to see the speech pathologist & my sister has to go to physio as she has had an op on her hand & can't drive yet. I am not going to do much today as I want to watch the Anzac march. talk to you soon Love Cilla xx

Hi Val I have a new profession I am a professional waiter I wait here I wait there I have spent so many hours at Dr's & hospitals over the years I feel like part of the furniture sometimes. Weather is still fine no sign of rain so it should be a nice day the only thing is we have to leave home at 7:50 so it is an early start a 45km trip either way but a nice country drive no traffic. Starting to feel a little bit better did a little bit of gardening this afternoon maybe will do some housework on Wednesday I only said maybe though.LOL Will talk again soon love Cilla xxx

I hope the Doctors visit went well for John and your sister, and that the journey wasnt too tiring for John, and that you managed to get in some gardening and the much needed fresh air!! as I will alway say, you can be waiter, butler or nurse!! but please look after number 1 !!!! HI CILLA, CAN'T YOU GET RESPITE CARE FOR YOUR HUSBAND? IF YOU DON'T TAKE CARE OF YOURSELF YOU WON'T BE ABLE TO CARE FOR JOHN. MY MOTHER-IN-LAW HAD A SIMILAR PROBLEM AND HER DOCTOR ARRANGED FOR HER HUSBAND TO BE LOOKED AFTER FROM TIME TO TIME. IT MADE A HUGE DIFFERENCE TO HER HEALTH. TAKE CARE OF YOURSELVES. Hi Girls John didn't go yesterday as he wasn't feeling to well & just wanted to sleep so I had a neighbour pop in from time to time to check on him no problems thank God. I did manage to do a bit today & I am feeling a bit more like my old self. John goes into our local hospital for respite when they have a bed it is only small but the staff are great & it is only 5mins from home, when I see our doctor next week I will book him in so as soon as they can get a bed he is going probably won't be to happy about it but thats tough I have earned a rest. Eileen we don't live that far away from each other we are at Werris Creek 45kms from Tamworth,so we are practically neighbours as the crow flies. Will talk to you soon Love Cilla xxxxxxx

Hi Cilla, Just wanted to say hi....i'm also pretty new on here but i'm learning pretty fast that it's one of the best places to come when you're feelin down - i sit here most days chuckling to myself (the rest of them in the office must think i'm cracking up!) The peeps on here are ever so friendly and will offer help and support whenever needed even tho they don't know you from adam. so hang on in there babe...if things get too much you know where we are! c x

Cilla, I hope that in time your hubby realises that you also need a bit of time, and that he will not think of a baby sitter, but if you do find some one to sit with him that he may look upon it as a new face to chat to, but until then thoughts are with both of you for what you are going through. Hi Val Yes we are doing ok I have been having a good 2hrs sleep in the afternoons & an feeling a bit better,still haven't got the energy to do much around the house but that doesn't matter I can always close the doors & my motto is my house is clean enough to be healthy & dirtier enough to be happy. I have spoken to our Dr & she has put him on the list for respite so that will help. Talk to you soon Love Cilla xxxx

Hi Cilla, Just thought I would tell you I was at the Garden Centre today and just had to buy a pretty little plant to go in my hanging basket. It is a Tumbelina fragrant double petunia (should come out a purple flower) and the name of it is PRISCILLA - every time I see it I will think of you and John and hope life is treating you better.
