anything by Martina Cole or Patricia Cornwell - if you like a criminal/detective/thriller type of book Impulse by Michael Weaver is a great erotica suspense thriller... Have to say Danielle Steel's books are good and easy to read.. I'd join in with the book club idea...can everyone type on GR and read at the same time tho?? lol Jill x |

Just finished 'The Victorians' by A N Wilson. Fascinating and if you look at it from the point of view of the 19 century census information it puts a lot of family history into place. Annie |

I love the idea of a book club. Am still bogged down reading Harry BL***y Potter + the whatever to my kids (like them really). Reading time is limited but would love to join in! Great idea. |

Stelly....I remember buying my son the first 3 Harry Potter books a few years ago! Id actually bought them as part of his xmas presents....I thought Id have a quick look to see what thy were like and ended up reading all of them before I actually wrapped them up! Bev |

I'm having trouble keeping up with my reading now I've become addicted to these boards, and as for watching all I video tape, well who knows when that will happen. I like the idea of a book club but won't 'sign up' because I won't be able to do a book a week - will just peek at the comments you make and choose the best reported ones! I actually buy most of my books from charity shops as I have a limited budget and am just collecting the shopaholic ones as I feel a kindred spirit to those - Mandy, how many are there in the series and do you need to read them in order ? Are they good? I am such a shopaholic. |
