Just to let you all know that I think the day has been Ace. I now have Gaynor Bear at home with me. We have all had a brilliant time. Loads and loads of photo's. Will let all those that have been with us tell you all about it. I am just too gobsmacked. Jenny. xxx A bit worse for the wear. ***Sunday***. I would like to thank you all for making my Geordie Meet so wonderful. My bouquet of flowers that you all bought me. Well, what can I say!!!! What a shock I got when I saw the size of it. I can honestly say it is the biggest bouquet that I have ever recieved in my life. I was absolutley stunned. Thank you all, but you know you really shouldn't have done. I was so pleased that Pink was able to join us at the very start of the relay. She arrived at Central station with Gaynor Bear and Grandpa Jim, looking Radiant. Lol. Where we sat for an hour dithering. It was freezing cold and we were all ready for our first tipple of the day, which was around 11.30am. We were still going strong at 7.30pm. Really expected a massive hangover this morning. But not a sign of one. Goodness knows how the rest of you are feeling. Catch you all later. Jenny. xxxxxx

Anybody else home yet? Train from Newcastle was late so missed my connection at York. Hubby had to come and pick me up! Had a fabulous time though and enjoyed meeting everybody Jan Guess what my surprise was? He's put some wrought iron railings up round the front garden. Only been waiting 5 years! lol Jeanette x

Well first of all I must thank Jenny for a brilliant day,great to see you again. Everybody was sooo nice it was a pleasure to meet you all. Jan train late getting in to Newcastle,didn't get back to Leeds til 9-14 then had an hour to wait for train from Leeds to Menston. I was bl**dy frozen,have just made a cuppa to warm me up. Thought I would let you know that NO I didn't fall asleep on the platform too cold.LOL Thanks everyone that was at the meet,really enjoed myself. Sue Jan told I would be the last one in.PMSL

to say i@ve been well looked after is an under statement!! We get a cab to grandpa and Anna's hotel cos they wouldn't let me go to bed.... I call a cab and the cab company tell me the hotel I'm booked into doesn't exist!! So thanks Grandpa and Anna for staying up till I found it!! I'm in bed now respondong to threads so Jan I'm not that awful!! :O) Pink xx

Hi all, Jonathan and I just got back a short time ago, though we needed to be woken up once our train pulled into the station lol. Really nice day, Jonathan thought it was excellent - despite losing his wallet - and that everyone was really friendly. Thanks Jenny & I shall see you next weekend O Pink one, lol. Andy x

Just got the train by a whisker and got taxi from the station to the football club where Jim was --soo just got in now--not bad for an old lady eh???.
