Here's a bit more info Following on from the success of BBC TWO's critically-acclaimed Who Do You Think You Are?, Nicola Moody, Commissioner for Documentaries & Contemporary Factual, and Roly Keating, Controller of BBC TWO, have commissioned Wall to Wall to make a second series of six one hour programmes. At least now the Sherlock Holmes of the site know they are looking for 6 names! Penny

Eddie Izzard definately has llinks with Bexhill (by Hastings) in East Sussex - I think he has a house there. Not sure if that's where he hails from originally. Would be very interested to see his programme!!!

SheilaSomerset Report 31 Dec 2005 11:35

Anyone who's interested - new series starts on January 11. Jeremy Paxman, Sheila Hancock, Stephen Fry, Gurinder Chadha, Julian Clary and Jane Horrocks will be taking part. There' s also a series called 'History Mysteries' starting on BBC2 later in January which apparently looks at geographical and historical context associated with research. Topics range from smugglers, highwaymen, unsolved murders, tombs and monuments.

Just been reading about the Stephen Fry programme in today's paper. Sounds very interesting, although also very sad. Daisy
