My christmas pressie was the Who do you think you are family tree maker delux. Like the family tree maker but the data discs I got free with it are turning out to be useless. Not found one single ancestor on them so far. They are supposed to be english parish records. scotland records and extracts from 1851 census. Gloria

Valice you will have to bribe friends or family to tape it for you. If I had a DVD recorder I would do it and send to you in the post - won't fit it all on one video though and haven't got enough spares lol!! Maz. XX

Just been reading about the Stephen Fry programme in today's paper. Sounds very interesting, although also very sad. Daisy

Anyone who's interested - new series starts on January 11. Jeremy Paxman, Sheila Hancock, Stephen Fry, Gurinder Chadha, Julian Clary and Jane Horrocks will be taking part. There' s also a series called 'History Mysteries' starting on BBC2 later in January which apparently looks at geographical and historical context associated with research. Topics range from smugglers, highwaymen, unsolved murders, tombs and monuments.
