On the wall where hubby used to do it is a sign which says:- the only difference between people with tattoos and people without is that those with them don't mind....... everyones entitled to their own opinion! theres another sign underneath which says 'names in hearts, sure to part' - think before you ink!! |

Hi Emma, mine didn't hurt too much - only the middle one as it was the one on my spine. It just scratched a bit. To be honest I've had 2 children so no other pain can compare to that! Estelle :o) |

I have a rose on one shoulder and a butterfly on the other, both done to cover up both done to cover up the pin and ink tattoos tha i was silly enough to have done when i was fifteen, (i didnt half get a clout of my dad lol ) but now forty years on the colours have faded and they look like old and tired (somewhat like me) and my young grandsons have told me off for drawing on my arms lol , Tina |

I have three, a small frog on top my right arm and a shamrock on top my left, just under this I have a yellow rose with Mum, it was her favourite flower and I had it done not long after she died. I think they are very addictive and know I will have more, would like one with my three sons names in. Beve |

Many years ago when I joined my first ship, we had a guy who was covered in tattoo's, on a very sensitive part of his frontal anatomy he had a BEE , I asked why a BEE and why there, he answered 'Because like ....... BEE'S is always busy' Len No tattoo's after 24year's service! |

Shooting stars have always been a significant symbol in my life. I'd like to have a permanent symbol of this on my body. Sometimes there doesn't need to be a reason. I have my tongue pierced just because I wanted and want to. becx |

I hate tatoos WITH A VENGEANCE (apologies to all those who have them - but my opinion is that they are disfiguring and ugly - without exception). I was horrified to discover that that my daughter had one done - the minute she reached 18....a horrible black serpent snaking down the middle of her back...if I could have got my hands on that tatooist I'd have had him done for GBH, if the law had allowed). How ridiculous it will look when she is older! And at 23 she regrets it. Ugh!!!! Dee x |
