I have had my 3rd tattoo, does anyone else have any and what are they? I have a sun on my back, a flower on my right arm and a new fairy on my left arm.

I would like a tattoo on the base of my back, does it hurt to have one there?

I would NEVER have a tattoo. I was in hospital with a young woman who was having a tattoo removed. The donor site for the skin graft was weeping and raw.... Now that WAS painful. Not for me thanks but I respect your right to do as you wish, - as I would my adult children but I still hope they choose not to have tattoos.

I'd like one, but frankly I'm a bit of a wimp when it comes to pain, so I keep putting it off !!

hi , my 21 year old daughter has 3 her name on her ankle ,, a rose on her shoulder and just the other day got a kind of symbol on the base of her back it is really nice but big , pmsl

I've planning on having a small shooting star on my lower back... Have heard they hurt but having had my tongue pierced twice I'm prepared for the pain!

I want to get either a symbol on the bottom of my back,or my two sons names,written in chinese on my hip. Anna :-)

not wanting to put anyone off who's still eating their lunch, but when I started my last job, we had one of those ice-breaker type games where you reveal 3 items of interesting information about yourself. One guy revealed he had a tattooed bird about his person, that when he was feeling frisky, turned into a soaring eagle, lol. I can't imagine why you would want that done unless you're a bit of a mascohist (sp?).

I have a small rose and hubbys name on the top of my arm. Daughter has a butterfly on the base of her back and another butterfly on her shoulder.

i have two tattoos.. My first one is a pink heart on my stiomach, the second is My mums name (judith) in Pink chinese writing on my lower back...that one killed!!xx

I had mine done last year. It's a Japanese character meaning Eternity and it's on my lower right back. I did check several sites online first to make sure it didn't really say silly old tart!!! It didn't hurt - more an insistent buzzing and pressing on the skin. Daisy

I have 3 A rainbow on my left shoulder with my name (in case I get lost), and 1 on each thigh 1 is a bunch of grapes lol I know done in the late 70s to cover boys name, other thigh love heart that im having covered this summer. suex

I've got two, a tribal sun on the top of my right arm and an orchid with a humming bird on my left shoulder, hubby used to be a tattooist - he's got 2 they start on his chest and end at his wrists - various piccies all blending into each other....

i have 4 but im a bloke! on a woman they can look ok but often look cheap nasty tacky and often slutty. sorry!
