Well done Lindy - are you happy with your new look? I am wearing my hair shorter these days and I get no end of compliments, plus it is very easy to look after. You can always ring the changes with different colours, highlights, lowlights etc. I go as a model -lol - to a training school nearby so I get all I want done for free and have a laugh with the girls and their trainer into the bargain. Enjoy the new you!

I've had very long hair several times over the years. When my daughter started school a few years ago I could sit on it. Since then I've had it cut by my husband so that it is now just at boob level. I've got dark brown hair with lots of grey appearing, but I will be 41 this year. I know someone who has almost all grey hair in her forties and she looks lovely, I wish mine would go grey quicker. My mother-in-law has long hair that she has in a french pleat that is a really smart way to have long hair. Everytime that I've had my hair cut short I've regretted it as soon as I've walked out of the door and have decided to start growing it as soon as I've reached home. Hairstyling is personal, if you think that you'll feel like a more refreshed, new person with the chop go for it. Best of luck. Louise
