How many of you can assemble a patio table, own a power drill, can fix a dripping tap, bleed a radiator, and do various odd jobs around the house? I am cack handed but will tackle any of the above, rather than ask any man to do it! lol BC

No probs, do all my own DIY. Not done much in the way of plumbing but wall paper, paint, electrics (when you were still allowed) Not done any plastering, but will put up coving. Minor carpentry such as new skirting boards and self assembly wardrobes. Ros:-)

I can put a plug on - provided its a brand new one with the little instruction thingy still attached! Can't paint for toffee, and am pretty useless at most diy stuff - pay someone who knows what they're doing is my motto! Lucy x

I can wire a plug, tile and do decorating, I also used to do my own car maintenance years ago, but there's so much electronics in modern cars, the most I do is top up oil and water!

I can do anything I want to !!LOL Change washers, reseat taps and change taps when all the above fails!! Change electrical fittings, fuses (including those in the fuse box), wallpaper, self assembly, and I've even made my own made to measure bookshelves from planks of wood. Re-assembled a victorian fireplace and made the hearth, plumbed in washing machines, changed the engine and gearbox on a morris minor, tiled the bathroom, made a bath surround and boxed in the pipes. I can't guarantee the quality of the above - but I tried!!! However, I can't make cakes, and am useless at housework. Doing DIY is about the only time my house gets a good clean!! maggie
