The courage to stand by what they say and mean what they say or stand up and be counted? No cowards can't do that Paul. Can they? Pat x

I thought about posting something very similar Paul, Good for you. I hope if anyone ever has a complaint about a thread or reply of mine that they have the guts to mail me directly. Love Jack x

Hi Paul I have just seen Dianas thread and added a 'small' comment, i can't believe how some so called grown-ups behave at times. Yvette

Class sneaks always creep up to Miss' desk to tell tales in a whisper. They are ashamed of what they are doing but can't help themselves. Then they deny it in the playground later. It's a form of bullying in my view. Gwynne

Jackie - no they don't - most of the time they don't even tell you that someone HAS complained, they just remove the thread.

Serious question. Can GR members complain about the complainers? Because quite frankly, if what I am assuming to have happened, has happened. I find it quite offensive. Patty

Laura Report 8 Jun 2005 17:10

I think we should complain, the threads were not offensive or anything that normal people would want removing. Because of one idiot, why should we all miss out on things?

Paul, Do pigs fly? Of course they wont own up, I do admire all these fundraisers and I wish I was younger, I would love to join in with these walks. Thankyou Diana and the rest of you. June xx

No Paul cowards tend to hide in corners. About time whoever it is was barred for good from the boards, I certainly will be having second thoughts about renewing next year at this rate xxhugxx to everyone who cares.

They hav,nt got the guts to say who they are. I just hope they never get the big C ,but then if they do i bet they will be glad of people like Diana for raising all the money for research to help cure them. I think that we should ALL complain about this. I am disgusted Val

I've said all this before but I'm going to repeat myself (please feel free to ignore me) People on this site are complaining far too much. We all have subjects/people/types of threads that annoy/bore/irritate/offend us. It's sooo easy to avoid them! Even if a whole page is covered in threads we don't like or threads by a person we don't like we don't have to respond or even read them. Yet there are people running to abuse all the time like childish tittle-tattlers. Personally, I think GR need to judge each complaint on merit rather than neccessarily deleting a thread because it goes against the rules, because rules should be there as protection rather than to be enforced blindly. A lot of people will disagree but I also think that if a person has been complained about they should almost always be told who has made the complaint. This would stop some of the petty complaining that is being done. An exception (for example) being when something extremely sensitive has been posted and genuinely upsets someone - I'm sure the GR staff are capable of knowing the difference between a complaint that is genuine or one that is made for unpleasant reasons (like the one this thread is about). Speaking for myself, I would always be happy to tell someone if I'd complained about them. Sorry to waffle on your thread Paul:)

If GR are persistently getting complaints and I stress 'persistently' from certain quarters then doesn't this say something also that they might like to address.
