Will be even worse tomorrow. tomorrow at 3.45 I have an appointment at a local surgery for a minor op. I have to have a sebacious cyst removed from the back of my head. A surgeon from Gloucester hospital goes to this surgery once a week to do minor ops.. I am such a coward. I know it is nothing compared to what some people go through. But this is MY head. Cheer me up someone Ann Glos

Aww Ann I sympathise with you honey. my hubby has had a few removed at out local GP surgery. Our GP does them if they get too big. Apparently it shouldn't hurt too much it'll just sting a bit when the local wears off. Be a brave girl and have a couple of paracetamol before you go. That'll help. If your feeling a bit scared you could try Bach Flower Rescue Remedy. Very good for restoring your equilibrium in case of fear or shock !! I swear by it. You can get it in Boots or health food shops. Love and healing on it's way. XX Sioux

thank you all for your thoughts, it does help. Husbad is very supportive and coming with me, but I don't even like the dentist. What a big baby (at my age too). Ann

You will be fine and so relieved that its gone. I had a sebacious(spelling??) wart removed from the side of my trunk near my booby & it was over so quick, was just happy it was gone.. Had local jab which wasnt that bad,had worse when had catarracts done. & it was over in a flash. YOU WILL BE FINE. Shirley

Karen, mine doesn't hurt and my previous doctor was content to leave it for the moment. Then I mentioned it to my new doctor (old one retired) and before I knew it he'd made an appointment for me to have it done. If he hadn't i would have gone on prevaricating. it i starting to aggravate when i go to the hairdressers as it is just where the edge of the basin presses. I will let you know all about it. Somone else on here has had it done and she assures me that it is not a painful process, except the stitches kept catching on her hair a bit. My hair is short so hopefully wont have that problem. By all means pm me later next week about it. Ann
