I try not to hate, although there has been one occasion when a partner of a friend tried to sabotage my wedding that I got pretty close to that particular emotion. But I think Hate is like Bitterness - the only person it hurts is you! Kaye x

Yes, I hated, and still do hate, the people in my life who caused so much misery. Fortunately, they are all dead now, but I'll never forgive the unnecessary heartache and suffering they caused. The only time my feelings against them ever bothered me was when I had to be in their company, and I don't feel any guilt or remorse for how I still feel about them. I don't think sweeping statements like that quote can cover every eventuality. CB >|<

I once thought I hated a man who was violent towards me (many years ago) on a regular basis but eventually I sent him a card thanking him for what he had done as it made me the person I am today and I like that person!! :O) I am fairly certain I can say He hated me for a while!! :O)

I hated a teacher who humiliated me in front of the whole class (she called me a liar). I don't think about it now, but I've often thought about what I would like to say to her in front of an audience of people whose opinion she cares about! But generally, ife is too short for all that - and hatred damages the hater as much as the hated. nell
