Margaret I know someone who is allergic to pecans, walnuts and brazil nuts. But, they can eat any other nuts without effect. I have been told by a few people that the more peanuts you eat as a child - the higher the risk of nut allergies when your older. My son virtually lives off them and hes only 12. Has loved peanut butter since a toddler - and has eaten a full jar of peanut butter this week alone! I keep trying to tell him but he just loves it. Says he'll worry about that if it happens! He doesnt eat any fruit or vegetables, barely eats any meat and isnt very keen on even chips. Hes a pasta and eggs kinda kid, though peanut butter is his passion as you've probably realised. lol Vikki xx |

I'm also Lactose Intollerant - milk used to make me sick as a child. I think that is the root cause of my IBS? Also Ibuprofen (nurofen etc.) which has been a bit of a shame in the past. I have very sensitive skin, particularly on my face, and have to be careful what face creams etc. I use - more recently I seem to be sensitive to some shampoos as well! Fortunately none of my allergies are serious and don't effect everyday life. For those of you who are also Lactose Intollerant have you tried the Alpro Soya Milk - I'm really new to it, but really like it and am so pleased that I can have a bowl of cereal in the morning again - definitely worth trying. Oh - my Husband is allergic to Nylon! It brings him out in really bad eczema - his skin cracks and bleeds and get's really nasty unless he gets on top of it very quickly. Kaye x |

Kaye I will let my Lil Sis know about the Alpro. She finds it really hard going if she has milk too. Will get her to try that for a while and see if it helps her. She had/has IBS but now has leaky bowel too. May be worth a go for her. Thanks for that tip Vikki xx |

I can't take iron! My sister tried allsorts when I was pregnant, she even ground up my tablets and sprinkled them on pizzas and in my hot chocolate so I wouldn't know it was there! I still vomited lol Wasn't laughing when my HB count dropped to 8.2! Julie xxx |

Hi, I am allergic to cats and some dogs but not all the time - only now and again. My mam is exactly the same. I also have just found out that I am allergic to sunblock. Bit difficult for me living in Spain eh? Natalia x |

~Little Ray of Sunshine~ No rest for the wicked (not that im implying you are!) I think lemsips & beechams do have asprin in but i think the kids lemsips ones dont (as kids cant have asprin). Not 100% sure im right on that tho. My we have a lot of the same types of allergies on here dont we? But, also quite a few unusual ones. What a funny lot of people we humans are! Wonder if pets have allergies too? Vikki xx |
