Interesting that the Countries which give the highest figures are those with a heavy emphasis on the 'macho' attitude! You can prove anything with statistics and I don't ever take any notice of statistics. We all know that sexual behaviour has changed in the last 50 years and that younger people are ABLE to have more sexual partners, if they wish, than we Oldies were! In my day, if you wanted to have sex, you had to get married first. Our Mums would have killed us! Olde Crone

Unknown Report 22 Nov 2005 21:15

Brian Buttercup apparently:) lol John CB I wouldn't dream of asking or telling when sober but I'm not average either. Helen:) I've never been asked to do a survey:( But I'm sure I'd make myself sound a lot more interesting if I was;)

Anna Report 22 Nov 2005 22:15

Hi from Down Under Just thought I would mention that if you come to Australia and ask for Durex, you'll get adhesive tape!!! Could be a problem!! As for the survey - how come nobody asks me to respond to any remotely interesting survey? Anyway, if they did ask me, I would plead a senior moment and say I couldn't remember!! Cheers Anna

Andy

Andy Report 22 Nov 2005 22:31

I'm sure using adhesive tape could be one way of ensuring safer sex ;)

Jacqui Report 23 Nov 2005 08:17

Lol David Owen!!! when I first saw this I thought it was a survey about Paint!!! Wilko's beats Dulux hands down!!! Nine sounds a good enough number to me - 99 being too excessive (although, very interesting). Only had 1 so not really qualified to answer. Durex must be having a lean time actually - in my local garage last week I mistook a sign on the Pharmacy section saying Buy 2 get 1 free for the Lemsips - lol give me the Lemsips any day! attishoooooooooooooo! Jacqui

Maz (the Royal One) in the East End 9256 Report 23 Nov 2005 10:36

our survey says ..... only YOU could have put this thread up !! roflmao oh, I'm with BC and David by the way, although I doubt anyone will be surprised to hear it!! To answer the question though, I wonder if the people they surveyed were from a wide range of age groups? I would say that as an average I'm not particularly surprised at that figure. If I averaged out family and friends (where I think I know!) I reckon I would get a figure maybe slightly lower, so its probably about right! Maz. XX

I thought it was gonna be about lo roll SEE - how sweet and innocent am I?

Unknown

Unknown Report 23 Nov 2005 13:02

Daisy & Zoe Bles yr innocent souls lol Maz! Well I don't like to disappoint lol. I reckoned the same - I know a few people who have (to my knowledge) have had very few partners (a lot of 1 or 2s and I have an old friend who is still intact) but I also know a lot who are into much higher figures. I would have put it a little bit higher I think:) Personally I think sex is healthy - wouldn't judge anyone for having a lot of partners or very few. I do think there's definitely a place for sex without love but it's not for everyone (though how do you know til you've tried lol) Jacqui:)) OMG I have such an interesting image of you and a packet of Lemsip pmsl. I suppose 99 wouldn't be excessive if you had a very long life;) Hi Anna Pmsl - you learn something new every day don't you? I think Andy has a point though lol

Karen in Kent - Hmmmmm.....lol I'm sure someone told me that when a bloke says how many people he's slept with you should halve the number and minus five... whereas for a woman you should double it and add five.... lol Becx (A virgin) *reports self to abuse for lying*
