White bits under/in finger nails

Seemed to have developed little areas of white on a few fingernails a thumb. Anyone know why that might be? (I haven't been using tippex)

I eat quite a bit of egg. Suppose it's no good on it's own. Wouldn't tea be helping? I drink alot of that.

I was told lack of calcium too - but it would have been months ago to show clearly on your nails now. Aren't dark green veg supposed to be good for calcium too? (update - well Julie think's so! :o) RW

RW Thought green veg was for Iron!! Joy
