Eliza Mathews from Purton or Codrington, who hasn't got her fathers name on her marriage certificate, so I can't go any further with her! And if I could have two - Daisy Stinchcombe, my great grandmother's illegitimate daughter. I would love to know what happened to her. Lisa |

Alfred Worboys born Hertford 1847/48 according to the census. You said your dad was dead when you married in 1869. If you lied you were the brother of James. Own up and tell the truth! |

My great uncle Herbert who is on the 1901 Census with my grandmother (his sister), who my father vaguely remembers and who is on my great grandfather's death certificate. I don't know who you married, if you had children, when you died. Did you go to war? Tell me now, what did you do with your life!!! Susan |

Not quite what you asked for Gwen, but my closed door is shut with william Hay,1803. cheltenham. Throughout half his life he gave himself a middle name, variously Arkley, Artely etc. Would love to know why - there must be a reason, but it doesn,t appear to be his mothers name or place of origin?. Or did he just do it to impress the girls) Happydays |

From my father's side, I'd like to discover more about Robert Sygemay, who was recorded in Wakefield, Yorkshire in 1275 - don't know why! From my mother's side, I'd like to find out if her Stewart ancestors were related to Charles I ! (... or, more likely, Rod Stewart!) LOL CB >*|*< |
