I'm in Band A and I pay £820 just for a 1 bed flat in West Yorkshire. This is last years council tax still haven't received the bill for this year yet. We don't get anything for this amount not even a grit bin for the hill opposite my house which we have to walk down to get to the shops. Sue

We haven't had our bill yet but we're usually in the most expensive borough in the country (Sevenoaks). We moved to a slightly bigger house last year too so have gone up to band d. I'm dreading the bill as it was huge last year for band c!! Angela
