We've just got our bill, Band 'C' is 1097 (the pound sign has dissapeared-sorry) In Poole, everyone here seems to moan dreadfully about the price, in comparison to some of you it doesn't seem too bad! Suex |

I live in Wales so we went up a Band last year - which put the bill up by an extra £250. This year the increase is 4.8 % which takes my Band D property to £1164. I suppose the Council has to find some way to fund the 133 posts they've just created to teach children how to play. |

I haven't had my new demand yet, but according to Epsom & Ewell Borough Council website a Band C property pays £1128.73. I wish I only paid that - not that many Band C properties round here! Sue x |

Here in Bolton band B is £988. We live in a 3 bed semi. Think they've got a damn cheek considering since the last couple of weeks they are only coming to empty our wheelie bins every fortnight!! |

Trafford Council (near Manchester) Band B - £853.60. Seems lower than some on here but I still think it's a rip off! Lynne |

We pay ours seperatley as well, in Poole Dorset, just up the road from Merry. Merry I think I need to move across the border, you seem to be a bit cheaper than us, and as Bournemouth starts about a mile from our house, I'd hardly notice it! band C here is 1096.76 Whoops I got it wrong! It's cheaper to live here, my mistake, I'll stay put! Suex |

Talking about water rates. does anybody know about the rates of water meters? For instance a band A property and a band F property at the moment pay different water rates (dont know why as its all the same water) but if they had meters fitted would the rate per unit be the same or will it be higher for one than the other? |
