I once asked the very same question ( why do we die so young ) and was given this reason by a close friend of ours. God puts us on this earth to learn to learn everything we can. Some people take longer to learn than others . The people that are taken from us at an early age have learned all they can and are unable to learn anymore so God has taken them back to be with him once more in heaven. Paul

Hi Len The drug culture certainly has played a part in some of the deaths. If you listen to some of the lyrics some of them have been very dperessed and rather f****d up in their lives Thanks for the website Paul, I will take a look at that Dee xx

If you have seen the Karen Carpenter Story you would know that she virtually committed suicide - starving herself to retain her figure/looks. Probably on some sorta drug too. Guess most of em died of drugs of one kind or another.

Eva Cassidy - recognition of this extremely talented lady was after her death so she became famous posthumously. Tragic that she died (of cancer) never knowing. Others have died knowing they were famous, loved and stars. helen x

There is an average span. For every person who dies after the average age another dies before it. I have a book linking artistry with depression. It is also a fact that depressives and pessimists do not live as long as happy, optimistic folk. Maybe the drug culture has something to do with it?

I dont suppose there will ever be an explanation Dee but all those talented people even though they died young made their mark on the world and are well known household names. There are people who have lived till their 90s even though they are just as important to people who love them the rest of us know nothing about them! Davex
