Wonder if there would be much of an audience for GR- the Opera. Jerry Springer - The Opera seemed to go down quite well lol.

No college is also a load of sphericals. I might look into night classes if there are any but I would like to make a start on my own.

Dan have you tried looking for tips on line or asking (e mail) some playwrights! Has your school/ university got a drama dept the teachers there could be useful. Good to try lots of peeps to get ideas. good luck Dan Kaz :o))

the only snag with doing that Daniel is that if you send it for publication and it is in the incorrect format it will be rejected without being read. depends as well if it is for on the stage or for television/film or radio production and various places want their scripts in a slightly different format that the norm. It may be worth your while checking out channel fours website as they used to have guidelines for submitting scripts etc.

Drama sounds a good idea,,,,,,,,,,,,,,Leading man Daniel swashbuckles across the stage.....

Daniel

Daniel Report 4 Apr 2006 13:47

No no no I'm not going down that route. There are drama courses but you know what sort attend them; I wouldn't fit in. If there was something specific about writing (I'm already doing English) then that would be more helpful. Anyway, Mr. J Longman is letting me use his debit card to aquire a useful and informative text from Amazon.

It still might be good to contact any playwrights at the uni for any tips - my goodness Daniel can't see you on a drama course!

the 'sort' of people who are doing these drama courses are the sort of people who would be performing your work - maybe best not to antagonise them lol
