How sad that this dreadful disease took away another mother from her child and her family and friends. Ruth sounds like she was a brave special lady. The wife of a childhood friend of mine died last week - she was my age, 58, and had battled cancer for a long time. I think it was while she was in remission that she wrote a book about her illness. I was so sad to read that she too has had to leave her sad husband and family behind. Rest in Peace, Ruth and Jenny.
