Next Door? Would the houses have been around in 1947? Oh Daniel, any info gratefully received. There were a few of the Huttons but all died relatively young and none appear to have family - that I've found of course. Oh sugar, think another trip to Merseyside is reqd.

Yeah, the houses are 1880's I think. Well known road although nothing brilliant about it. Houses are a bit big for the area. I think Victoria was an early road in Tranmere.

Thanks for that Daniel. He was an engineer at Cammel Lairds so might try the Library, pity firm is no longer there. Got a cousin in States, must send her a message, her grandmother and Alex Hutton's mother were sisters. Christine

The yard is still there with Cammell Lairds written all over it, just a different company now.
