Who has (evening) dinner - or 'tea' at teatime? Peasants are winning one to nil cos I have my main meal at the traditional tea time. Happy days |

*groans....oh no..... the north/ south devide...Harry first there is breakfast, then there is a light repast which we call lunch, and then in the evening...there is dinner...with a glass or two of wine, of course.... Voila!!! lol BC |

When in the UK nearly always have our dinner anywhere between noon and two o'clock, then later on there's tea time and we sometimes even have supper - quite late on! Over here we nearly always eat our dinner between 7 - 8 p.m. Cheers. Margaret |

Thanks for the replies. Peasants are well in front.(Margaret one to each side). Six o,clock is one to the peasants. BC. If you are a 'dinner* person, you can,t have supper, - you,d never sleep. Happy days |

Hi Harry, Breakfast was the first meal - 7.30 to 8 Then tiffin at 11 ish (lots of Indian Army wallahs in the family) Lunch at 1.p.m. Tea at 4 Dinner at 8 Cocoa at 10 with biscuits to help you through the night!!! and a carafe of water (probably in case one slept with one's mouth open, tee hee) Cherryxx |
